Crude to Refined

This record was born in Red Deer, but like so many Albertan ex-pats it somehow found its way to the Salvation Army in Nanaimo. That is where I found it and it has brought me much joy.

Recorded by a lady named Star Cunningham in 1986, it is called "Crude to Refined A Tribute to the Oil Industry". It features the songs "A Rigger's wife" and "Down Hole Workover", among others. Part of the proceeds from the sale of this album were allotted to "give the long overdue recognition to the oil industry and build the Oilman's Hall of Fame." Oh Red Deer. Sometimes I miss you - but mostly not.
